Freightz.com collects various information for various purposes. The information collected is used to market and improve the services we offer, to improve our web site content, and to contact customers or vendors with service updates, technical updates, or for other marketing purposes.

IP Address and Cookies
Freightz.com automatically collects browser type and browser software version to tailor the presentation of the site and the services to the visitor's or user's platform and to maintain a record of the user's or visitor's activity on the site. During the registration process, Freightz.com requires users to give us contact information via a customer registration form. We then use a customer's email address to send out customer access information. The customer's contact information is also used for account purposes such as address verification and confirmation of shipments tendered with Freightz.com. We also contact customers for the purposes of notifying them of service updates and explanation of services. Users may opt-out of receiving service updates, as explained in the "choice/opt-out" section below.

During the shipment administration process, Freightz.com requests shipment information from the user in order to process their shipment. This information includes shipping and receiving addresses, product descriptions and the date and time of the shipment. Freightz.com utilizes this information to generate an electronic pickup with a freight carrier and to forward the necessary shipping documents to the shipping or receiving parties. All of this information is required in order to correctly process a shipment request. As a result of those actions, you might supply us with such information as your name, address, phone number, and credit card information. Requesting credit you may have to supply us with a Taxpayer Identification Number or Social Security Number.

Freightz.com allows the user to create an address book to simplify and speed up the shipment process. Freightz.com may contact a stored address of a user if a shipment tendered by a user cannot be delivered.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that dislosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

Information Sharing and Access
Contracted agents enroll new users by submitting account information to Freightz.com such as: company name, address and email address. Freightz.com uses this information to create new accounts. A contracted agent can access only the account and shipment information for those users they have enrolled. Contracted agents have no direct access to any Freightz.com databases.

Shipping and receiving information for each shipment is submitted electronically to the freight carrier chosen by the shipper. Freightz.com does not share a user's personal information with any other third parties for any purposes beyond that required for shipment administration. Carriers have no direct access to any Freightz.com databases.

Advertising and Pop-Ups
Freightz.com does not sell advertising anywhere on our web site. If you see advertising pop up messages while using our website, they are not being served by Freightz.com and are in no way endorsed or encouraged by Freightz.com.

Security
Freightz.com will use commercially reasonable methods to keep Personal Information securely in our files and systems. Our Payment System is operated using secure Internet connections, using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, to help protect financial data. Please note that with current technology, we cannot guarantee the security of your data as it travels over the Internet.

Choice/Opt-Out
Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communications from our partners and us. Users can have their information removed from our database and refuse future service updates, or cancel service by calling us at 800.736.4633 or by emailing us at contactus@Freightz.com.
